Sang Seniman

(Behind the story: This is truly unfinished. If live gives you lemon, make a lemonade. The artists surely do it! )

Prelude from a Pickwickian

Everything always begins with a prelude depicting the way the thing would be in the future. I consciously realize how messy my prelude is, but we always hope that things would develop even better, so may this blog be :)
Nevertheless, this is not the beginning of my blogging history. In my junior high school years, I created one in which I have made about 60 posts or so. These posts tell so many things I've been through in my life. I'm also quite pleased that there are many people, many of whom I never meet, acknowledging this blog.
Nonetheless, I was young(er) back then. Although I shall always keep this odd little child inside of me, I realize that I'm changing, just like everyone else. I feel like I've found a new direction which I hope will lead me to the better part of myself. And when I saw my old blog, I don't think it still defines who I am anymore.
My quest now is aspire to inspire.  It doesn't mean that I, myself, is inspirational. I'm awfully flawed and I believe many people say so. However, I can still treasure so many precious things within these flaws that keep me on the track. I would like to make people more aware with the existence of these things within themselves. We may believe that everybody lives for a reason, so we shall not shatter it whether it belongs to ourselves or others. Justice is the result we may achieve through appreciation and tolerance of everybody's reason to live.
I believe that art is the best tool to achieve this quest, including literature. My fond and knowledge of literature has turned bolder than ever now (well, they should be since I'm student of Language Class -> ABah), so I think I could manage to write something more useful for the world. That's what would differ my new blog from the old one! It would not simply convey my blablabla experience, but I'll have my poems, stories in which I hope you might find enjoyment and inspiration.
Well, lastly, I think I should explain why now I name my blog Pickwick of Neverland and my website lapickwickfille.blogspot.com. Why all of them involve the term Pickwick? If you read Charles Dickens' creations, you might know his first novel The Pickwick Papers. Frankly, I haven't read it :PNevertheless, I discover this term in Louisa May Alcott's heart-warming classic, Little Women. This story is personally my favorite literature concerning on feminism in which I also find gaiety. In the story, the March sisters who are the main characters revel in many literary activities such as role play, writing newspaper, and reading poetry. They acknowledge themselves as members of the Pickwick Society. I guess I'd love to join the club!
:)

Love,
La Pickwick Fille
